Hi,

Please excuse me if this information is to be found somewhere on this forum.

I'm looking for information on the family of Henry GUNTHER, born Baltimore MD on 06.05.1895. His address was 3011 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, Etat de Maryland. Parents were Nicholas and Margaret GUNTHER(mother's maiden name unknown).

Henry Gunther is officially the last American soldier to die in France in World War One. In 2008, the people of the little town where he was killed will be inaugurating a momument to his memory.

On their behalf I'm trying to find out where this branch of the Gunther family came from and whether the family still exists. Any information would be gratefully received.
