GUNTHER Ebenezer

Greeting all,
This is my first posting to the list.
Ebenezer Brown GUNTHER bc 1790, was a mariner who married in London in 1812. He became a hosier, habadasher and toy seller there, at least until 1824. Ebenezer (wife Mary Ann BALE)had 3 children..Mary Ann b 1815, Johannah b 1816 and Charles William b 1817. Johannah's death certificate states she was born Sierra Leone and Charles "on the high seas".
After a well publicised bankruptcy, Ebenezer and wife Mary disappear. His daughters emigrated to Australia, whilst Charles remained in Surrey.
I would be so grateful for any information for Ebenezer and wife Mary. The Times lists a Mrs Gunther and servant dying in Sierra Leone in 1819. It is nbot known whether this is Mary nee Bale, but there seem to be no children born to this couple after 1817.
Many thanks,
Lorraine,
Melbourne
