Hi Ronald,
I am certainly no expert, but I would begin by contacting the Ohio Vital Records Office. You can access them on-line at vitalrec.com/oh.html. You should be able to find your grandfather's birth, marriage and death records. These would then give you other names to further your search.
If you are completely new to genealogy research, try looking at Cyndi's List - the section on the U.S./Ohio. It is a good site where you can see what records are available and will give you ideas on how to continue your search.
