Hi:
I saw your posting & the names sounded very familiar. So I checked in my mother's notes. Her grandfather was Ole Gunderson (born in Norway 3/10/1843 - died 5/25/1925). He married Christine Knutson (born in Denmark 8/16/1852 - died 5/7/1942).
I know there is a connection with the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and also Wisconsin (near Clintonville). My mother grew up in Wisconsin. Her father was Benjamin Frederick Gunderson (born 4/17/1894 - died 4/14/1962). Her mother was Edna Alyce Sayers (born 2/14/1898 - died 4/30/1954). They were married 12/23/1915 in Menominee, Michigan.
It sounds like we may be related. What do you think?
