Thanks, I've been trying for decades (on and off) to find some of mine. Someday something will happen to help us find our roots. I think with the Gumms it will have to be someone able to do Germany genealogy. I have a branch (that married into the Gumm/Gatz line who evidently was set down in America by aliens. No ship line passengers, etc. It is possible they used an alias to come across or that someone misspelled their name so badly I can't connect it. I keep hoping. Good luck!
