I found in an index the marriage of Mary Gullion to William McCreary on 9/27/1809 in Gallatin Co., KY. It said "Concent of Parents Jeremiah and Mary Gullion". I wrote to Gallatin Co. for a copy of this marriage record but all they sent me was just a copy of a note saying that Henry Ogburn solumnized their wedding on September 1809 - not the same information. Can anyone tell me where I might find a copy of the original marriage record? Maybe Carroll Co. which is what Gallatin Co. turned into? Mary Gullion is the daughter of Jeremiah Gullion b. 1758 and Isabella Patty.
