Hi Pat,

I don't have much on the Bartels. I just have them to the 1880 census. Maybe you should contact Maryanne Kendall at She is the big "Ball" authority. She might have more. I think a lot of the Gulliford's and Ball's just kept moving west until they hit the Pacific Ocean and couldn't go any further. There are a lot of them in Oregon. I was talking to someone in Oregon but she was only interested in others from Oregon.
