Enoch Gulley, son of Thomas (I)
Does anyone know if Enoch Gulley, son of Thomas (I) first name was George? Below is from the DAR Lineage Book and the George Gully who this person descends from is Enoch Gully. I have her DAR Application which she became a member in 1916. All of her dates are wrong! Her g-grandmother, Frances Gully, was married to David Pruitt Mar 8, 1815 Madison Co. KY. Enoch and Frances Gulley signed their consent. I have a copy of this marriage record. Also, on her application she list my 4th g-grandather George Gully, Betsy, Sally and Frances Gully as children of George (Enoch?) Gully.
The only reference that I have for Enoch's first name as George is from Historical Register of Virginians In The Revolution. In this book there is George Gulley and George E. Gully. Does anyone have info that Enoch's name was George Enoch Gully?
