George Gullett married Nancy Bratton in Lafayette Co., MS. in 1854. Nancy was the daughter of George A. and Mary "Polly" Bratton. Don't know what happened to George, but in Dec. 1864 (those were the war years. Nancy married Evin Kuykendall and became my great-grandmother. The 1880 Calhoun Co., MS census lists Evin and Nancy Kuykendall, Mary Gullett, then 18 yrs, and Lonzo 5 yrs, Lonzo was my grandfather and I knew him well. He did not remember any family but was sure his mother, Nancy, died when he was about age 7. He did not remember Mary, but our family would like to find informatioon about her and her family. Evin Kuykendall died in Oklahoma about 1889-1890, when Lonzo was about 14-15 years old. Would certanly appreciate any information, and will share anything I have.
