I had the occasion to stop and look at an old family cemetery located back in some woods near my house in Woodbridge, Virginia. This cemetery is located near the intersection of Prince William Parkway and Minniville Road. The largest feature is an old obelisk type tombstone. On three sides are the following names with dates:

This cemetery is located near the intersection of Prince William Parkway and Minniville Road. The largest feature is an old obelisk type tombstone. On three sides are the following names with dates:Myrtle A Glascock Jan 7,1879 - Jan 22, 1883
James Henry Glascock Jul 26, 1873 - Mar 9, 1893
Ernest L. Glascock Jan 28, 1877 - Apr 12, 1914
Angelese A. Glascock (daughter of BA & B Glascock) Jan 7, 1913 - Mar 9, 1913
Mahlon I. Glascock Jul 7, 1849 - Oct 23, 1828 (that's how the carving reads clearly)
Isabel L. Gulick (Wife of Mahlon) Oct 22, 1849 - Mar 18, 1923
On a large flat stone on the ground is an inscription saying that James Henry is the son of Mahlon and Isabel. My guess is that probably the other kids are theirs also.
On two more small stones are the names: Susan A. Glascock Jul 7, 1847 - Dec 16, 1921
John W. Lake (with the inscription 'Uncle' above his name) Apr 20, 1820 - Mar 21, 1903.
If this information is of any use to anyone and you would like a picture of the stones, let me know by mail. My address is 4206 Holiday Ct Woodbridge, Va 22193-5128 or call
703-878-6766. There are lots of little stones with initials matching the names on the big stone. Hope to hear from you.
