I am connected to the Gulick family by Mary Ellen Gulick who was the daughter of Levi Gulick in Decatur, Il. I literally stumbled into it when I looked at an old geneology called the Warne family in America(1911) (Family Tree Makers Geneological Library)where it related the connection and pinpointed my ancestor in Decatur. Levi's father was George Gulick who married Sarah Hughes. George was the son of John who was the son of Johannes the son of Jochem and finally Hendrick. It all linked neatly together.I thank you for your diligent research if you are the one who posted it. . Note Many of George Gulick's(1776-1856) sons and daughters settled in the Decatur, Illinois area in the 1830-40s.. I am researching them now. I have found the Gulicks well researched in the U.S. Many thanks to all.
