Guise: Birmingham/Tasmania/New Zealand

Hello,

I am looking for antescendents/descendents of William Guise who was born in Birmingham around 1807. His parents were James Guise (comb maker) and Elizabeth (maiden name unknown).

He was sent to Tasmania as a convict in 1824 aboard the "Chapman". He married Martha Bellamy, another convict in 1832. Their eldest son William was born that year.

William died in Melbourne in 1878. Martha died in 1888.

William Guise Jnr married Celia Lamb in Eulong, Victoria in 1853. They moved to New Zealand shortly after where their children were born.

William and Celia lived apart for about twenty two years and William had a second wife, Marcella whom it is thought he married in Auckland (assume about 1878) and returned to Melbourne with. He had three children by his second marriage. He died in 1905.

Celia's surname on her death certificate was Celia Robson (there is a mention of William Robson among her probabte papers) but I cannot find a record of her divorce or second marriage.

I'm interested in hearing from anyone else with possible connections.
