Does anyone here have any documented information on the possible Cherokee or Choctow or other Native American Indian ancestry of Henry GUINN's wife, Mary Ann FITZGERALD or her mother Rebecca Cocke FITZGERALD or her grandparents Jester COCKE, Senior and Sarah Cole COCKE, (Sarah's parents were James and Averiler Daniel COLE, Jester's are currently unknown.)

On the "ALL THINGS CHEROKEE" website, there is a posting from 2006:

Query: Looking for information on my gggrandparents. Anne Elizabeth (GUINN) CARAWAY and William Garner CARAWAY. Wm. Garner born May 1840 Alabama, Anne born 1847 Alabama, married in Texas, not sure of date or place. One grandaughter says Wm. was Choctaw and one says Cherokee.

Anne Elizabeth was Cherokee through her parents grandparents: Charles & Elizabeth (HUSBANDS) Guinn, parents of Charles were Henry GUINN & Mary Ann (FITZGERALD) Guinn.

I'm really looking for William Garner's Native American ancestry. Wm. Garners parents were John W. Caraway Born 1808 place ?, & Arabella (WILLINGHAM) Caraway born Oct.1,1812, Georgia.....
