Susan, this is not my family either, but thanks for posting all that wonderful information. It will help a lot a people.
Just a comment about one of the entries. On the 1880 census for Clinton Co. KY I think the Alenon Guinn is the one some interpret as Alezon and others as Alezar. It's very hard to read in the original microfilm. I believe this name was originally Eleazar, which would be pronounced Alezar. This Alezar Guinn was married to Sarah Rule. His older brother David Guinn was married to Sarah's sister, Mary Rule. The Rule's lived in Wayne Co. KY as did David and Mary after they were married. Later on they moved to Horse Cave, KY, and then even later they moved to OK.
