Alfred Sidney Guin who died in Pickens County Alabama in 1880 was my great great grandfather. He was one of the early settlers of Pickens County. Recently I have discovered that he once lived in Randolph County in North Carolina (1830) along with his wife and young daughter. I was able to determine this by using US census data and tracing back some of the families who lived in the immediate vicinity of Alfred Sidney in both Alabama & North Carolina. I am seeking information about the ancestors of this family and would appreciate any help.
