Thank you for your reply. No, I do not have Margaret Lambert's book. I went to www.books.google.com in hopes that I could see that one page with the important information for me. But, of course, since it is such a new book, there was not even a 'preview'.
I checked their link to libraries and found that the book can be found only in several New England libraries. I live on the west coast!
Other books found at that website did not include information about Temperance or her father, Samuel. So I would like to accept your kind offer to send me a scan of the partitent page [pg. 26]. And I thank you very much!
