I was delighted to find this new data on your line. I have your ancestry, now from yourself, back to John Guild and Elizabeth Crooke of Dedham, MA - c. 1636 - to the present.
Your great grandparents are buried in Maplewood Cemetery in Springville. The letter you refer to - could it be from Hanford James? He did live in Franklinville in 1870, 1900, 1910 and 1920.
