I see a George S. Guild listed on the 1910 census in Buffalo, NY, a 'boarder', occupation "Merchant" "Phongraph", maybe a traveling salesman? Maybe why his son was there at 7 Sampson St. Jamestown NY. George Standish Guild registered for the WW1 Draft showing that address, E. Claribel Guild as wife.

I've searched but cannot find an obituary for his father in 1894 on line anywhere. Again, I need to ask you to contact the public library there and see if they can locate his obituary. There is a NY State Index to deaths, but I have no access to it.
