Hi Folks-
Bill Pease is right the portraits of John & Adeline Guild are excellent. (see Genforum message #439) They are very lovely and well done for that time period. They are definately worth a look. The portrait of John Guild shows a handsome young man with a very high forehead, something some of my close Guild relatives and myself also have.
Now I am wondering if anyone knows where John & Adeline fit into the Guild family tree. I haven't been able to find them in any of the records to which I have access. I am assuming that John & Adeline Guild were husband and wife, though I suppose they could have been siblings. Yet I still haven't found a John & Adeline Guild recorded together in the same family. However; I did find a Charles Guild and his wife, Adeline (Nason) Guild, living in Walpole, Mass, in the same time period.(?)
Any suggestions?
