Any Descendants of Benjamin Guild & Elizabeth Quincy who could inform me as to Benjamin Guild's part in the Revolutionary War?
I have done some online research which mostly takes me to cataloged items which I would have to visit the facilities holding them to see an actual document or a microfilm of it. Currently I am unable to that. Which is why I am writing this post.
From the online research I have done, it appears that Benjamin Guild, born 1749; died: 1792; Bookseller and Stationer; son of Benjamin Guild and Abigail Graves; and husband of Elizabeth Quincy; was if not a good friend of many historically known people active in the Revolutionary War, was at least their acquaintance. What is the scoop? I have become fascinated by this family member and want to know more. FYI I am a direct descendant of his brother, John Guild and Nancy Druce.
Looking forward to hearing from anyone who can tell me more.
