Searching for information on a Julia Guidry that was married to or had children by Joseph Cormier. Julia gave birth to six children and three were living on the 1900 census, Julian Cormier born 1865 Louis Cormier born about 1868 & Joseph Cormier born about 1877. Their Mother, Julia Cormier was living with Louis on the 1900 census and listed as 50 yeaars old but she surelly must have been older. Several documents of the three sons list her name as Julia Guidry. She was a mulatto, her sons are variously listed as mulatto and black. There was some mixture in this family. The sons are thought to have been born in Lyons POint in now Acadia Parish. I have been unable to find these people on the 1880 and 1870 census.
