I believe from the church and census records that Julia Fontenot married the Joseph Guidry who was the son of Antoine Guidry and Josephine Daigle. The 1910 census record shows Josephine Daigle the near neighbor of her daughter-in-law, Julia Fontenot who was remarried to Alexis Semaneaux.
Julia Fontenot was the daughter of Antoine Fontenot and Caroline Prestridge. In the 1910 census, one of the children from Caroline's first marriage to Joseph Opry is the next door neighbor of Josephine Daigle, the widow of Antoine Guidry.
The father of Julia Fontenot is the same Antoine Fontenot who married Marie Magdeleine Stutes and Marie Oliver Richard. He married Caroline Prestridge on September 12, 1875.
I am a firm believer in circumstantial evidence helping sort out these families. The census records many times hold the key as to which correct person married whom. Such is the case with Joseph Adam Guidry the husband of Julia Fontenot.
