My Baton Rouge, La. "Guidry Family"

My grandmother was Juanita Louise Guidry bn.6-27-1902 Baton Rouge,La. married Allen Clarke Odom. Her father was Joseph Benjamin Guidry bn.Feb.1868 Baton Rouge,La. married Katherine Gundy. He died 9-20-1903. He was waked at his mothers house at 313 St. James St. Baton Rouge,La.
In the 1900 census Joseph and Mary Guidry lived at this address. Marys maiden name was "Maria Carmelita Sanchez".
Joseph shows up on the 1860 census in Baton Rouge,La. but I have no info. on his family or what branch of the Guidrys we descend from. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
