I am working on my sister-in-laws family. They know only bits a pieces of their family history. Here is part of what I have been able to locate.
Orestelia Guidrey (parents unknown)
born: Feb. 23, 1892 in LA.
She married Jerome Bailly in about 1909 in LA.
She died abt. 1983 in Jefferson Co. LA
She is buried inST. Anthony Cemetery, Barataria, LA
Jereme Bailly
born June 3, 1885 New Orleans, Orleans LA
died: May 25, 1960
Their children:
Jerome Warren Bailly Jr. - 1910
Estella - 1912
Chandler R. - 1915-16 ?
Mercedes M. - 1917-18 ?
Melanie F. - 1919
Gloria - 1923
Eleanor - Jan. 1926
Berthold - June 1929
All born in LA.
Any help is appriciated. I will be glad to share more recent lines.
