Nicolas Guice/Guise - Lincoln Co., GA

In my search for where my MARK GOLDEN (b. 1762) family came form in SC, I have come across these Guice's of Lincoln Co., GA. I am in hopes that someone can place them in a group that may have traveld together with my Golden's. Does anyone have a story about how their Guise came to Lincoln Co., GA.

Mark Golden is in the "An 1800 Census for Lincoln Co., Ga. Tax Digest of
1801 1802". He was in " District F ", Captain Murray's District. It says that he has 60 acres on Soap Creek in Lincoln Co. Other Goldens reside in that same area.

Mark Goldin and Nancy (Parks), his wife, to Nicles (Nicholas) GUISE. 16 Feb 1808 Deed for 100 ac. adj Nicles GUISE, part granted to John Tolbert and part to Henry Jones. Nancey Golden signs by mark.
Witnessed: Jonas Guise and Allen Goldin. Registered May 12 1808. Pg.
403-04.

Other Golden's were: John, William, Benjamin, Caleb, Allen, James, Seaborn & Layton.

Any information would be appreciated. Please e-mail me direct.

Thanks,
Anita
