Anyone know the relationship between Ephraim Guffery and Henry Guffey of Wayne Co., KY?

Henry Guffey's daughter, Mary, married Abraham Mayes 12 Apr 1809 in Wayne Co. Marriage Bond Vol 2 page 46. Minister return missing. Henry Guffey gave consent. Bond dated 12 April 1809. Surety Ephraim Guffey.

I have estimated the birth of Mary at c.1790-1792 and thought her parents where Henry Guffey and Lydia Mannin but after reading all the posts on this family I am wondering if that is correct.

Any information appreciated.
