First Guevara immigrant from Spain to Mexico?

Hello: I have been able to trace my Ladron de Guevara ancestors from my ggg grandfather, Jose Ignacio Ladron de Guevara,b. 1762, who came as a Spanish soldier from Mexico to California, back as far as Martin de Guevara and his wife, Beatriz de Heredia,in the early 17th century or even the late 16th century. All the generations in between came from Queretaro, Mexico and I believe the Guevaras were among the first colonists of that City and region. Does anyone know if Martin came from Spain--or which ancestor did? I believe the family comes form Navarra, Spain. Thank you, JM Haines
