Hi Rich

I'm searching for information a marriage around 1900 between Henrietta Guertain and Louis Ricard which took place in Quebec, thus I noticed your post. Ironically, their son, died in St. Charles, Ontario in 1934.

I was able to obtain a copy of their children's marriage record at the archives in Toronto. I had to physically go there, but it was free, and they had a lot more information that I would have ever imagined.
www.archives.gov.on.ca

I also sourced out some help, which was done for a very nominal fee, thru the Genealogy group housed out of the North Bay Library. They had on site the parish records for marriages in and about the 1900's.

Their website is http://www.rootsweb.com/~onnbogs/index.html

Good luck in your search.

Diane
