here is a website with lits of Guertin family history. It's a bit overwhelming though: http://www.guertin.com/genealogy/guertin/
My connection can be traced back to Pierre Guertin and Josephete Berthiaume married in Canada, had a son Antoine Paul Yattaw (not sure when the name switched over since he was born in Canada too). Antoine came to the US and married a Mary Agnes Nicklay/Nickaly in NY and lived most of their lives in VT were they died and are buried. They are my great great grandparents
