Your information about your grandmother's date and place of birth must be wrong. Go to www.censusfinder.com and look for the Canadian Census of 1901. Then choose Quebec, Shefford District, Granby Sub-District, and you will not find any Guertin's or Menard's close to the name of your relative. Keep trying and if I can be of any help, please advise.
