My grandmother, Eliza Guertin M Alexandre LaPalme abt 1992 in St Charles Church, Prov.RI. Eliza b Ju 3, 1862 in St Hyancithe and d Ju 21, 1936 in Attleboro, MA. Her father was Jean G/J Guertin b Feb 5, 1887,Canada, and d Sept 27, 1887 in either MA or RI. Jean m Euphemie Guelle Oct 14, 1850, Notre Dame du Rosaire, ST HY. Euphemie & Jean lived in Holyoke, Ma shortly after their marriage. They were in Hebronville, MA for the 1880 census running a boarding house. There was a known son, Victor E. Guertin. I am trying to find out if there were other children. At the time of Euphie's death, only 2 chlldren were living but many more grandchildren that I can't account for. A Joseph Guertin left a widow, Julie Frenier Guertin and a daughter, Eugenia Guertin living in Hebronville. Father of Jean Guertin was Jean Guertin and Marie Ann Caron.
