Hello everyone,
Apparantly, I have a gggrandmother named Elvira Canamar possibly aka Elvira Guerra Canamar.
Our Perez Family descendants know Elvira Canamar as thew wife of my gggrandfather Castulo Perez who was the son of Manuel Perez Acevedo who was the son Zeferino Perez and Maria De Jesus Acevedo.
Don't even know who Elvira Sisters, brothers, and/or parents are. I managed to get some info from a researcher on Guerra line but not sure if the the names he gave me are really her parents.
This is what a Guerra Line researcher had emailed me:
What I have from two sourceses (Grace Charles of Corpus Christi and from Ester Cañamar) was that Elvira Cañamar (who was married to Castulo Pérez) parents' were Refugio Cañamar and Claudia Cierra and Refugio Cañamar's parents were Remigio G. Cañamar married to Dolores Cantu about Nov 1806). Remigio's parents were Joseph Antonio Guerra Cañamar married to Ana Caterina Peña. Joseph Antonio Guerra Cañamar was baptized in Pelon on 02 Nov 1744 and got married in May 1776. Joseph Antonio's parents are Juan Amador Guerra Cañamar and Juana Francisca Rodríguez de Montemayor. They had a marriage dispensation [42-11] and were married in Monterrey on 23 Nov 1732. Juan Amador's parents were Juan Guerra Cañamar and Elena Cavazos. This is the Revilla family.
If you are in the Guerra Canamar line please let me know if you have any family that had an Elvira Canamar born Abt. 1862 according to her death certificate.
Unfortunately its not an exact date due to the informant on the death certificate did not know her exact birthdate or her mother or father was stated as unknown.
