Hi Yvonne,

I do not believe that it is a match. It seems that your Pantaleon was born in 1909 and died in 1983. As I have told you, my gg-grandfather was born in 1842 and died in 1917. Your grandfather, Blas Guerra was born in 1900. It is not possible that my gg-granfather, born 58 years earlier, could be his brother. We may yet find a connection between our families, but this is not it. Sorry. We will just have to keep looking. Because we have both the Guerra and Gutierrez names in common, as well as the southern Texas roots...I'm sure we will eventually find something. What is your fathers name and are you all still living in Texas? Maybe that will help us figure it out.
