Hi Patrick,

There are still plenty of Guerins in Listowel although the spelling is the same the pronounciation is different (More like "Gairn").
I'm also a Guerin although unrelated to the Listowel Guerins
(as far as I'm aware) even though my I my family are originaly from nearby in Limerick/Clare.

As for Ryans, well there are plenty of them all over Ireland but I believe that name is very strong in Tipperary.
