I have noticed that some of my "Gue"s in West Virginia became "McGue"s around the end of the 1800's and beginning of the 1900's. Has anyone else ran into this? I would usually think that this is just because thats the way the censustaker heard the name. But I have seen this dozens of times. Especially in Cabell County. If anyone has any insight to this, please let me know. Thanks
