Children of Presley Gue and Susannah Turley, from Presley's Civil War records were:
Mary A., b. Octorber 20 1867
Luella Jane, b. July 11 1869
Samuel L., b. October 6, 1872
Dennis b. Dec 25, 1875
In one of the affidavits, statement was made,
"I was personally acquainted with Presley D. Gue he was working form me in _____in 1877 and was _____ in our ____ ____ lying in my bunk, when a man came in the door and shot Presley D. Gue who died in about 30 minutes after he was shot. We was about 15 miles from a physician is why I had none(?).

Presley died 21 February, 1877. Susan remarries to a ?? Riddle. Am showing there was a third husband, but no name for this third marriage. Susan mary of married a second time before marrying ?? Riddle.
From a Gue family member, I was told that four of the Presley brothers fought during the Civil War. Their brother, Lindsey did serve. Family members would dress him in a dress to work the fields, so they (the army) wouldn't take him too. I have Civil War records for the four brothers who served.
My husband descends from Presley's brother James H. Gue, from his son, Floyd Kelly Gue.
