Albert Gudgeon Worsnop Leeds UK b c1864
I have found an interesting anomaly while researching the Worsnop name. I have located the Marriage of Albert Gudgeon Worsnop to Susannah Gray, September quarter 1884 reference Leeds 9b 636. This is my Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother. While trying to find Albert's birth certificate in the indexes, I only found (in the right year) "Albert Worsnap Gudgeon" listed under Gudgeon. (Kirkstall 9b 224).This is either a transcription error and Gudgeon was a given name (possible from an early ancestor) or my Great Grandfather was actually a Gudgeon, not a Worsnop.
Can anyone shed some light on the Leeds (Yorks, UK) branch of the Gudgeon Family?
Best regards John Worsnop
