Hi, Karen,
I have Sarah Jane Gudgel(l) as the dau. of Abraham and Anne Elizabeth (Burch) Gudgel(l). According to the 1860 census of Jefferson Co IN., she was born abt. 1841 and died 1 Nov. 1903. She married 1st. Seabright and 2nd. Marion Turpin.
Sarah Jane's siblings were:
Esther Ann b. abt 1843, married 1st. John Sager, 2nd. John Waingert;
John S. b. May 1846, d. 5 Oct.1913, Married Melinda Harrolle 25 Feb. 1868;
William b. 1 Dec.1849, d. 4 July 1925, married Elizabeth Bird;
James F. b. abt 1852, d. aft. 1913, married Melissa Ferren on 22 Feb 1877;
Mary E. b. abt 1854, Married William Bird on 6 July 1873;
Martha E.b. abt 1858, married Isaac F. Jones Feb. 1877;
Permelia C. b. abt. ?, married John Richell 23 Dec. 1856 ( this is questionable data for Permelia)
The Ira Gudgell, wife and children, that you mentioned in your post were the son and grandchildren of John, the brother of Sarah Jane.
Sarah Jane's father, Abraham, was the son of Abram and Elizabeth (Harbison) Gudgel(l); Abram was the son of Andrew Gudgel(l Sr., the son of Frederick Godschalk/Godshall/Gudgel and Anne Mary.
Thanks for the names of the children of Sarah Jane and Wesley Seabright.
