I have information that Sarah Jane Gudgel married Moses or he also went by Wesly Seabright. They married in Madison, IN on August 2, 1860. They had sons King, William Jr. and Charles A. I found Sarah & Wesly living in 1880 in Petty, Lawrence, IL. Also found just M.W. Seabright living in the same place in 1900. Living right near by was Ira Gudgel with wife Ella and children Edna, Allie, and John. I am trying to gather additional information on Sarah Jane Gudgel. I have been told that there is a possibility that her mothers maiden name was Birch. Does anyone have information on this Sarah Gudgel and have you ever heard of the Seabright's in either IN, KY, or IL? There is talk of Sarah possibly remarrying in 1896. Could this be Elijah Gudgel's daughter?
