Jorge, even though my last name comes from El Progreso, I don't know much about the Paiz. Hence my inquiries. My family is from a small village in Zacapa. I don't know if your Paiz is related to mine...but I'm sure it is. Check out ancestroszacapanecos.com and you can blog your questions there.
