GRIDER/GUIDER/GRYDER/GREIDER Reunion

The Annual Guider/Gryder/Grider Reunion will be held on Saturday, 18 June
2005 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lions Park on Roberson Spring Road in Loudon, TN. This is a location change from other years. This will be a covered dish dinner. Please bring enough food and drinks for your family. We will eat at noon. Bring your cameras, photos (old and new), family trees, treasures, documents, lawn chairs, tables, and any items you wish to share.
Everyone is encouraged to come and join us. Hope to see you and your family there! Directions to the park: From I-75, take exit 72, (northbound from the interstate, take a right off the ramp, southbound from the interstate, take a left off the ramp). Go East on Highway 72 toward Loudon. After passing the New Life Family Worship Center, which is on the right about a mile from the interstate, take the first right onto Roberson Spring Road. The park is the first right after turning onto Roberson Spring Rd. Signs will be posted. This is the families of Joseph GRIDER/GUIDER/GRYDER and Ann Eliza TUCK.
Joseph served in the Civil War and says he was born in Rockbridge, Va. and died in Greenback, Tennessee. We would love for you all to come if you are related to any of these names since Joseph is as far back as we can go. You may be related and we just haven't found you yet.

Joseph and Ann Eliza TUCK GRIDER/GUIDER/GRYDER/GREIDER had these children:
Sarah, Lucinda (married a SCHRIMSHER), James Edward GRYDER, John, Henry Clay, Houston, Francis Marion (F M or Frank) GUIDER/GRIDER (lived in Jackson County, Alabama), Sherman GUIDER was the son of Joseph and Hariett LAMBERT GRYDER.

Joseph is buried in Sinking Creek Cemetery, Greenback, Tennessee.
