As you stated Nathan Grubb married Elizabeth Mearkle b: December 1850 in Emerson, PA d: 1905 Married abt.1876
** died from a fall from a horse (family version)

From that union came Emma Grubb; Ettie Grubb; Wilson Grubb; Esther Grubb; George Henry Grubb; Jennie F. Grubb; 2 twins died at birth; Rhoda Grubb (my great-grandmother).

From this union with Ada Wakefoos (not such a nice lady from what I hear) they had one son a Paul Grubb.

Mom recieved the Nathan Grubb bible from Donna Diehl who recieved it from Jennie Grubb. Donna Diehl would be Jennie Grubb's daughter in-law the wife of Wilber Diehl her son. The bible now resides in VA. I've shared this with your society previously. I think??

I've heard too that Jacob was adopted into the Grubb line. I'd love to know if anyone finds out who his father was???

I've also heard that Esther Lodge was a quaker and due to her being pregant out of wed lock left the quakers. How true this is I'm not sure.
