Albert G. Grubb (January 20, 1803 - August 26, 1875) was a farmer and carpenter who was born in Delaware and settled in Morgan County, Ohio. He was the son of William Ford Grubb and Lydia Williamson of the Grubb Family of Brandywine Hundred, Delaware. On March 19, 1824, Albert married Elizabeth Ann McCarthy (1807 – November 2, 1859) of Loudoun County, Virginia. They had eleven children between 1825 and 1849. In 1837, Albert was elected a trustee of McConnelsville, Ohio. By 1851, he relocated to neighboring Washington County where he was elected Clerk of Aurelius, Township. He was also a member of the Methodist-Episcopal Church. On October 18, 1860, Albert remarried to Roxalana Armstrong (December 24, 1832 – October 18, 1906) of Washington County, Ohio. They moved to Toulon, Stark County, Ohio by the 1860s.

The other Grubbs listed in this census appear to be from an unrelated Grubb family.
