I think you were thinking about James Barnet when she wrote about James Groves, Here is what you said in an early post

One site said that Barnet, Joseph, & William were brothers from Pennsylvania. However, in Berkeley Co., [W] VA, there is a deed of 1782 from Jonas GROVE to Jas. BARNET, so they could have stopped in West Virginia on the migration to Ohio.
But later when Cathy mentioned James Groves, you said he must not be the one in the deed, but the only james in the deed you mentioned is James Barnet, unless you are talking about a completely different deed, in which case please forgive me as I am completely out of sync.
