Ken,
I was just wondering if you have considered entering your DNA in one of the databases for Genealogy?
I entered my brother's like two years ago, but not a match yet.
My line;
Joseph Groves b. abt 1790 md. Catherine Staley are my 4th ggrandparents. Both from Shepherdstown WV and Maryland area, They went to Illinois about 1828. Joseph's presumed parents are Jacob Grove/s/Groff md Margaret Garinger/Gerringer, but no one else appears to have confirmed them anywhere and none of the 6 siblings (per biographical books) of Joseph's have been uncovered yet,
I know your Solomon is kinda of out there on his lonesome too, and thought maybe. I have written Darrell and there are some connections between the families much later in Illinois. I will have to check my notes for futher detail, but it was to do with Marcus line I think.
