Hi Johanne! I live in Woodstock,Ont.It is very satisfying to find one's ancestry. My
mother was french (Pare)and my ancestor on her side was Robert Pare, who built the originalchurch in St.Anne de Beaupre. He knew
Fr.Lalimont.Re Jean Baptiste & Marie Amable
Hebert: He wasb Feb.19,1735. M Jan.23,1758,
at St.Laurent,Montreal. to Marie Amable Hebert. Her F Jean Baptiste Hebert,Mother:
Jeanne Jolive. Marie Amable had 3 children,
at least: Jean Baptiste b Nov.25,1758.
Marie Therese b Feb.28,1761. Jacques Francis
b ?? Married LouiseSt.AubinJan.24,1785,then remarried on Nov.11,1793 to M.Catherine
Robitaille.(your lineage?)I don't know the
story about Jean Groulx. I know he married
Marie Anne Goguet by contract on Nov.22 or 23,1671.I saw Etienne's Parent's names,but forgot where.I will look for it.Marie Goguet's Parents were: Pierre b 1629 D 13 04
1684 At Montreal. Louise Garnier b 1637 D 18
01 1712 at Montreal.Marie's family was from:
Marans,La Rochelle,Fr. Etienne,Jean's dad,was a fish merchant. Louise Garnier's
parents were: Charles b 1595 married to Jeanne b 1597.They married in 1620 at Bazouges,Diocese D'Angers,Anjou,Fr.
We can help each other to put the pieces together.I have never been to Montreal. Is the
plaque to Jean still there? Regards,Jim.
