Liana,

Not sure how far back our lineage meets. Here is an email from my father, explaining what we know of our lineage...

If you go to the Groulx Family Genealogy Forum on the internet, ie; genform.genealogy.com and look for the message number 225 posted by Tim Drummond on January 27, 2007; John Baptiste and Elizsbeth Lafrance were my Great Grandparents and Henry/Harry (b1889) was my Grandfather. It appears as though William (b1901) was a brother of Henry/Harry. All I have right now is what my mother and Dad (Harry C.) has passed down. I have no official records.

The birth date I have from Grandpa's (Henry/Harry Groulx) funeral announcement says he was born in 1886. As I mentioned, there was some confusion as to what records existed. The BMD records are what I would like to research in Bay City perhaps this next year.

I thought this was quite interesting...We are the lineage of John (Jean) Baptiste...
