Hello Donald,

Delighted to hear from you and report that I stand ready, willing and able to assist you in your search.

Thank you for kind words regarding the genforum web site page Donald.

I've been scouring the globe for Grosset family history for the past several years and have been in contact with Grossets and their descendants in France, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

There are two branches of the family that I am fairly well informed about - our own, and that of Lois Saleeba, of Victoria, Australia.

Her website is on the internet. Just enter her name- your search engine will take you there.

Our own family history, as far back as I've been able to go, begins in Dalkeith in the latter half of the 18th century, while Lois's goes back to the middle of the 17th century in Peebles.

Another Grosset family, the Grossets of Logie, Crossford, Fife, married into the Muirheads of Bredisholm, near Baillieston at the beginning of the 18th century, and their story is covered at the Muirhead Clan Society website:

Hoping to hear from you.
