Dear David, I was interested to see that you have a Grossart database. My husband is descended from Isabella Grosart born 1792 in Peebles, daughter of Robert Grosart (dog trainer) and Isabella Turnbull. He was the son of Robert Grosart and Elizabeth Dickinson. Isabella had siblings, Robert, Elizabeth, Adam, James and Helen. She married John Thorburn of Eddleston in 1810. I have a copy of her death certificate and her marriage entry in the OPR. Perhaps you have come across this family in your research.

Rosemary Thorburn, Crossford, Fife
