John Gross was borm abt 1785 in Greenville, Smithfield RI and died after 1860 in Scituate. Elizabeth ? was born about 1788-1790 and died after 1860. John's father was a Hessian soldier John Grosse (abt 1759-22 Jan 1830), buried in Smitshfield, RI m. to Hannah Hicks(abt 1759 - 26 Jan 1849) in May of 1782.
